In honor of All Saints Day and continuation of Dia de los Muertos I wanna take a moment to give thanks and love to 2 of the most important people in my life who are still with me in Spirit. First is my Gammie. No one could ask for a better or more loving person to call grandma. She was truly one of the most influential persons in my life and I can never repay her for the love, support, lessons, or love of animals (and specifically horses) she brought to my life. I love you and miss you every single day but know you walk beside me always.
I also wanted to give thanks and love on this All Saints Day to my great-grandpa Jim. Although his official title was “great-grandpa” by marriage, he was the only grandpa I ever knew and such an amazing male figure in my life. I only knew you for a short time but the love I felt has lasted my whole life. I’m so grateful you were there for the little girl who needed you and walking beside me as the adult woman who still leans on you!
